I work at Alibaba making oxygen.

Located at an average altitude of 4500 meters, the Ali region of Tibet is known as the "Roof of the Roof of the World." Here, the oxygen content in the air is less than half that of the inland areas, making even breathing feel like a heavy burden.
More than 10 years ago, when Lu Qizhong first arrived in Shiquanhe Town, Ali, this entrepreneur, who had previously worked in a state-owned enterprise, never imagined that he would build a modern oxygen factory on the snow-covered plateau.

"Hebei supports Ali, and we people from Hebei must contribute." On May 25, reporters interviewing in Ali met Lu Qizhong. Years ago, after resigning from a state-owned enterprise, he worked in Lhasa selling medical equipment. In 2016, with the support of the Hebei aid-Tibet team, Ouwe Oxygen Technology Co., Ltd. was established in Shiquanhe Town, becoming a high-tech enterprise integrating oxygen production and scientific research innovation.
Entering the oxygen production workshop of Ouwe Company, two automated oxygen production lines are running at high speed, and the intelligent monitoring screen displays real-time data such as oxygen purity and pressure. Lu Qizhong recalled: "At that time, technicians were crowded in a prefabricated house debugging equipment, and the headaches caused by high-altitude hypoxia were like wearing a 'tightening hoop'. Everyone gritted their teeth and persevered."
Today, the company has formed an annual production capacity of 400,000 cubic meters of oxygen, which can meet the oxygen needs of cadres, staff and residents in Shiquanhe Town. In the product showroom, a white device resembling a household air conditioner caught the reporter's attention. "This is our newly developed new generation of oxygen adjustment equipment, which can automatically adjust the oxygen concentration according to customer needs." Lu Qizhong pressed the switch, and the display immediately showed the current altitude data of 4700 meters, with an operating noise of only 45 decibels, 20 decibels lower than traditional equipment.
What makes Lu Qizhong most proud is the high-altitude low-pressure oxygen chamber project. In the simulated cabin, reporters experienced the magical effect of blood oxygen saturation rising from 74% to 86% within 5 minutes. "This multi-person cabin integrates Internet of Things technology and automatically depressurizes within one minute in case of emergency." The cabin is not only equipped with oxygen adjustment equipment, blood oxygen detectors, etc., but also entertainment facilities such as televisions and tea tables. The product has been adopted by dozens of high-altitude hospitals and scenic spots.
On the road of innovation, this man from Hengshui led the team to overcome many technical difficulties. The company has also cooperated with Tibet University, Hebei University of Technology, etc. The "high-altitude low-pressure oxygen chamber" technical specifications they spearheaded have become industry standards. What makes Lu Qizhong even prouder is that dozens of Tibetan employees trained by the company have become the backbone of various oxygen supply stations.
In a hotel in Shiquanhe Town, Tibetan waiter Zhuoma is helping tourists adjust the oxygen machine in the room. She told reporters that all hotels in the town are equipped with oxygen supply equipment, so tourists don't have to worry about oxygen supply at all.
"This year, we will launch a liquid oxygen project with an annual output of 4 million cubic meters." Lu Qizhong pointed to the plan and introduced that the new production line will realize the full-chain digital management of "oxygen production-storage-remote transportation-intelligent filling", which can not only effectively reduce the risk of high-pressure container delivery, but also realize 24-hour uninterrupted oxygen supply, and can also achieve "online payment and remote meter reading."
